Nathan Levanger D.O. is board-certified with the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners. He is the Chief of Medical Staff at Teton Valley Health Care. He specializes in family medicine. Dr. Levanger is available to help patients at Driggs Health Clinic. He also serves as a hospitalist at Teton Valley Hospital.
Dr. Levanger completed his B.S. Degree in Psychology at Brigham Young University. He earned his Doctorate in Osteopathy from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California.
Dr. Levanger specializes in family medicine. Similar to an M.D., a D.O. uses the same tools, treatments and technologies. D.O.s also must complete four years of medical education and 3 – 7 years in a residency program. D.O.s receive additional training in the musculoskeletal system to aid them in their “whole person” approach to healthcare. D.O.s may also perform osteopathic manipulations, similar to chiropractic doctors.
Dr. Levanger’s outside interests include bicycling, woodworking, skiing, sailing and spending time with his family.
