Maurice (Mo) Brown, M.D.

Maurice (Mo) Brown, M.D. is a board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon who serves as Teton Valley Health Care’s Chief of Orthopedics for Teton Valley Hospital. He specializes in surgical and nonsurgical solutions for a wide selection of orthopedic issues. He is highly experienced in arthroscopy, comprehensive joint repair, sports medicine and more. Dr. Brown also performs total hip and knee replacements at Teton Valley Hospital in partnership with orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Kevin Lee.

Dr. Brown  graduated from Sugar-Salem High School, earned his BS in Zoology at the University of Utah, then moved on to George Washington University Medical School to receive his degree as Doctor of Medicine. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C.

Dr. Brown came to Teton Valley Health Care from St. Joseph Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. He also maintained a solo practice in Polson, Montana, and served as Chief of Staff at St. Joseph Medical Center. Dr. Brown specializes in sports medicine, as well as foot and hand surgery.

He sees patients at the Driggs Health Clinic and provides orthopedic surgery at Teton Valley Hospital.

Dr. Brown enjoys alpine skiing, golfing and spending quality time with his family.
