Patrick Gorman, M.D.

Patrick Gorman, MD is board certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology. Dr Gorman is currently president of the medical staff at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. He is partner and staff cardiologist at Eastern Idaho Cardiology Associates.

Dr. Gorman graduated with his MD from Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, F. Edward Hébert School of Medicine in Bethesda, M.D. in 1985. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Madigan Army Center in Tacoma, Wash. Dr. Gorman’s fellowship in cardiology was at Walter Reed Army Medical Center.

Dr. Blank is Board certified in Cardiology, receiving his medical degree at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He completed his residency at the University of Utah Medical Center. He returned to the University of Nebraska Medical Center to complete his Fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease. As a Junior Faculty Member with emphasis on heart failure and cardiac transplantation, he was promoted to Assistant Professor. He ran the Heart Failure and Transplant program at University of Nebraska Medical Center pior to moving to Idaho Falls. He has been actively involved in heart failure clinics since 1999, with a strong interest in refractory heart failure.

Dr. Blake Wachter completed her Bachelor of Science in Math, Applied Analysis at Penn State University. She completed Medical school at the University of Utah and went on completing her Internal Medicine Residency, Cardiology Fellowship and Advance Heart Failure/Heart Transplant Fellowship at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. Her focus is general Cardiology with an additional specialization in Heart Failure/LVAD (left ventricular assist device) and heart transplant.

While at the University of Utah she also received her PhD in medical informatics.

Dr. Wachter and her husband Ron have found Idaho Falls a great place to relocate to and raise their two children.
